| DAVID KATZ, M.B.A. B.A., Sustainable Resources Management
After a long utility career at Ontario Hydro and procurement at Bechtel Engineering, David has spent the last 12 years in the energy and environmental consulting and building automation business. He was an active member of the Continental Automated Building Association (CABA) and it’s Intelligent and Integrated Building Council. He manages the Sustainable Resources Management Group that provides Energy Management and Sustainable Building services.
Mr. Katz writes and speaks regularly on energy matters and utility deregulation. He has given numerous oral presentations on a variety of topics including capital project planning, risk and multi-criteria methodologies, energy management and performance contracting, using technology and human resources cohesively. He was one of the Canadian reviewers on the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol for Renewable Energy. He is currently project manager for the Building Intelligence Quotient Consortium that is developing the CABA online ranking tool for intelligent buildings. |
