Doug Smith, Director of Marketing & Business Development
Doug Smith joined Richards-Zeta in August 2003. During his tenure at Richards-Zeta Mr Smith has a major responsibility for business development and alignment with key strategic partners, including Cisco Systems and Panduit. Mr Smith’s additional responsibilities have focused on the creation of a nationwide Systems Integrator network for the deployment of Richards-Zeta’s products in a go-to-market plan.
Mr Smith has nearly 30 years of management experience in facilities engineering, building automation systems design, demand controlled ventilation strategy & design, systems diagnostics, project management and energy & cost justification analysis. This experience has been with other industry leaders such as Siemens and Engelhard Sensor Technologies. Mr Smith’s experience in facilities engineering has been with an emphasis on integrating multiple energy technologies to optimize operating and energy efficiencies.
His work has been personally recognized, with awards for his design concepts and resultant energy savings, by Energy User News (EUN), the US DOE (Department of Energy) and EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute). |
